Federal Agents Tackle a Female Protester After Water Bottle Thrown at ICE in Minneapolis [WATCH]

Federal immigration agents detained a bald female protester on Monday after she threw a water bottle at officers outside the Bishop Henry Whipple Federal Building in Minneapolis, as tensions continued to rise following an Immigration and Customs Enforcement–involved shooting in the city, as reported by the Gateway Pundit.

The incident occurred outside the Bishop Henry Whipple Federal Building, where federal authorities had installed concrete barriers and fencing earlier in the day in preparation for ongoing ICE operations.

Video recorded by NewsNation reporter Ali Bradley showed a woman sprinting away immediately after hurling a water bottle toward ICE agents stationed outside the facility.

ICE agents quickly pursued the protester and tackled her a short distance away as demonstrators closed in around the officers.

During the arrest, one federal agent could be heard shouting, “Back up! Back up!” as protesters crowded the scene. Despite commands from law enforcement, agitators continued to shout at and harass federal agents while the woman was detained.

The confrontation came as protests intensified in Minneapolis following an ICE-related shooting over the weekend.

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said federal authorities would surge additional agents into Minneapolis in response to the unrest and threats directed at law enforcement personnel.

The water bottle incident followed a series of confrontations involving anti-ICE protesters in the city over the past several days.

On Sunday evening, conservative reporters Nick Sortor and Cam Higby were ambushed by protesters outside an ICE facility in Minneapolis.

According to Sortor, the situation escalated rapidly as demonstrators targeted him and his vehicle. “I was forced to drive away to save our lives, repeatedly warning those standing in front to get out of the way,” Sortor said.

He added that protesters ignored his warnings. “They didn’t listen, so I had no choice but to go anyway,” Sortor said.

Sortor said the confrontation did not end there. “They then used vehicles to block us as we were running, forcing me to throw the truck off the road to go around them,” he said.

He further claimed that the group continued to pursue them after they fled the scene. “Then, it appears we were chased down the interstate by another one of their goons,” he added.

Video and photos from the scene showed trash thrown onto Sortor’s vehicle, and he reported being spat on by members of the crowd.

No serious injuries were reported, but the incident added to growing concerns over public safety and the increasingly confrontational tactics used by protesters targeting federal immigration operations.

The scenes outside the Bishop Henry Whipple Federal Building on Monday reflected the heightened security posture now in place across parts of Minneapolis.

Federal officials have emphasized that assaults on law enforcement officers, including throwing objects at agents, will result in immediate arrest and prosecution.

As ICE operations continue in Minneapolis, federal authorities say they remain focused on enforcing immigration law while maintaining order amid ongoing demonstrations that have repeatedly turned hostile.
