Fani Willis just took a BIG loss in court… ITS ABOUT TIME!

DA Fani Willis Loses Key YSL Gang Case

Fulton County DA Fani Willis suffered a major setback as a jury acquitted Deamonte Kendrick (Yak Gotti) and Shannon Stillwell of all but one charge in a racketeering case against Atlanta’s Young Slime Life (YSL) gang.

After nearly two years, the case ended with Stillwell’s sole conviction for firearm possession. Both faced RICO charges, including alleged involvement in the 2015 killing of Donovan Thomas Jr. and a 2022 gang-related murder.

Willis had framed the case as a crucial effort to combat gang violence, alleging YSL’s ties to the Bloods gang. The trial drew national attention, partly due to the use of rap lyrics as evidence.
