Donald Trump’s niece is raising alarms about his mental state. In a YouTube video, Mary Trump claimed her uncle is declining rapidly and that his behavior is no longer just quirky.
She said: “We’ve all become used to the fact that every time Donald stumbles, rambles, forgets people’s names, wanders off the stage, or just pulls made-up facts out of thin air, in other words, lies, people on the right pass it off as if these are just fun little quirks of their dear leader and not the fact that every single day Donald Trump appears to be losing it.”
Mary has been a longtime critic of her uncle. She sued him in 2020 over inheritance claims, but that case was thrown out by a judge.
In the same video, she said: “I’m not saying it’s one thing or another because I don’t have access to him, but I’m a human being who observes things, and nobody who’s telling it true would say that any of this is normal or acceptable.”
As examples of what she sees as signs of decline, she brought up Trump speaking from the White House roof and his administration’s plans to install nuclear reactors on the Moon.
It’s worth noting there is no official diagnosis or medical confirmation of any mental decline. Trump’s doctor stated earlier this year that he showed “no abnormalities in his mental status” during a routine checkup.
Mary also posted on Substack, writing: “As a country, we are at war and the man who led us into this war is a corrupt, degraded, ignorant know-nothing who acted illegally to plunge us into a potentially catastrophic situation without the consent of Congress because, despite the fact that he is the president of the United States of America and arguably the most recognized figure on the planet, he wasn’t getting enough attention.”
She continued: “Despite being depraved and cruel, much like his cohort [Israel Prime Minister] Benjamin Netanyahu, he is driven by the most primitive impulses that center almost solely around protecting his fragile ego from humiliation (about which he has a pathological terror) and himself from the reality that he is a complete fraud.”
Mary finished her remarks by bringing up a nickname Trump reportedly hates. She wrote: “Donald is still no doubt stinging from the acronym recently coined to mock his inability to follow through on anything – TACO: Trump Always Chickens Out.”
