Donald Trump, Middle Eastern Leaders Sign Peace Agreement in Historic Egypt Summit Flanked by World Leaders

A Moment of Unity
President Donald Trump joined about two dozen world leaders to display strong unity at the Middle East Peace signing ceremony. The event marked the first phase of a historic peace agreement between Israel and Hamas.

Sharm el-Sheikh Ceremony
Trump, along with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, Emir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, signed the documents in Sharm el-Sheikh. This occurred just hours after Trump delivered a powerful speech to the Knesset in Tel Aviv.

Global Witnesses
Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, French President Emmanuel Macron, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, and other world leaders watched the signing. Trump highlighted their commitment, stating, “The people behind me are the greatest leaders, most powerful leaders, the richest leaders, frankly.” He added, “Sometimes it’s not politically correct to say that, but I’ll say it.”

Trump on the Deal
Trump emphasized the leaders’ shared dedication. “They all came together because they wanted to get Gaza straightened out,” he said. He described the excitement around the agreement as unprecedented. “Everybody’s happy about it like I’ve never seen before. I’ve done other deals, but people don’t care as much. This one took off like a rocket ship from the beginning.”

Overcoming Doubts
The President acknowledged that achieving peace in the Middle East has long seemed daunting. “It’s the biggest, most complicated deal,” he noted. Despite skepticism, the agreement’s first phase moved forward successfully.

Photo Ops and Final Remarks
Before and after the signing, Trump posed for photos with world leaders. He reaffirmed that documents formalizing the initial agreement between Israel and Hamas had already been signed, signaling the start of a new chapter for regional diplomacy.
