After sitting out on a meeting between three of the world’s most powerful – and arguably, most dangerous – leaders this week, Donald Trump has issued Vladimir Putin, Kim Jong Un and Xi Jinping with an eerie warning.
The trio gathered in Beijing, China on Monday (1 Sept) to mark 80 years since the defeat of Japan during the Second World War.
Appearing in the city’s Tiananmen Square for the poignant military parade, where Xi – China’s Communist Party leader – could be seen in officials flanked by the two politicians, as they walked the red carpet before taking their seats.
As we say, however, one individual that was notably left out in the cold when it comes to the high-stakes get-together, is Donald Trump.
The United States president remained firmly in the White House this week, from which he gave an announcement yesterday about the move of the Space Force HQ from Colorado to Alabama.

The same day, Trump took to Truth Social to acknowledge the meeting between Russia, China and North Korea’s heads of state, firing an alarming accusation in the group’s direction.
“May President Xi and the wonderful people of China have a great and lasting day of celebration,” the Republican leader began.
He went on to add, however: “Please give my warmest regards to Vladimir Putin, and Kim Jong Un, as you conspire against The United States of America.”
It is understood that Trump’s remark references Russia and North Korea’s leaders being two of the largely non-Western leaders to attend Xi’s elaborate parade (via the New York Post).
Elsewhere in his online post, the American publicly questioned whether or not his home-nation would receive a shout-out during the exuberant festivities – which are said to feature aerial displays, as well as marching troops – for its contribution to the conclusion of the war.

Trump continued: “The big question to be answered is whether or not President Xi of China will mention the massive amount of support and ‘blood’ that The United States of America gave to China in order to help it to secure its FREEDOM from a very unfriendly foreign invader.
“Many Americans died in China’s quest for Victory and Glory.”
He added: “I hope that they are rightfully Honored and Remembered for their Bravery and Sacrifice!”
Trump’s comments come in the midst of negotiations between American and China with regards to the two nations’ long-term trade deal.
Earlier this, the Republican extended a tariff truce with Beijing specifically for a further three months as part of a new executive order, which prevents goods being imported from China – which are currently subject to 30 per cent duty – from 145 per cent increased tariffs.
China’s current 10 per cent tariff on American goods, meanwhile – which was reportedly set to teach 125 per cent – has also been retained.
When it comes to Russia, Trump’s controversial comments come straight off the back of his meeting with Putin last month, which saw the pair fail to reach an agreement over the former’s invasion of Ukraine.
