Tiger Woods and Vanessa Trump are reportedly considering one of the most unexpected power moves of the year and it has everything to do with love, legacy, and a return to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
The golf legend and the former daughter-in-law of President Donald Trump are said to be “deep in love” and considering the White House as a dream wedding venue. Yes, that White House.
From “taking it slow” to “wedding bells serious”
Back in May, a friend of the PGA Tour star told the Daily Mail it was only a matter of time before the two moved in together.
Though they only confirmed their romance in March, insiders say the relationship has moved far beyond the casual phase.
“They’re not playing around,” one source told RadarOnline. “They’ve both been through scandal, heartbreak, and headlines and somehow found peace in each other.”
The relationship, which reportedly began around Thanksgiving, was first described as low-key. But in just a few months, the tone shifted. A friend close to Vanessa recently told Page Six the couple is now “wedding bells serious.”
Another insider added, “The symbolism is powerful. A Trump returning to the White House… but this time, for love.”
Donald Trump gives his blessing
If anyone expected drama from President Trump over the idea of his ex-daughter-in-law marrying another man, and in his own residence, no less, they may be surprised.
In classic Trump fashion, he went on the record in March with a full-throated endorsement of the romance.
“I love Tiger, and I love Vanessa,” he announced from the White House. “Tiger actually called me a few months ago. I have a very special relationship with Tiger. He’s a fantastic guy. I said, Tiger, that’s good. I’m very happy for both.”
He also reflected warmly on Vanessa’s past with Donald Trump Jr., calling their split “very sad,” but blaming it on political fallout: “I believe the relationship with my son was severely damaged by the witch hunt. ‘Russia, Russia, Russia. All the nonsense they put Don through.’”
Still, he praised Vanessa and Don Jr.’s continued bond, calling them “five wonderful children” and emphasizing that the former couple still has a “great relationship.”
A wedding fit for two comeback stories
While friends of Woods have downplayed rumors of an official engagement, the idea of a White House wedding, complete with the blessing of a sitting president, is already captivating fans.
Woods, 49, has weathered his own share of public scrutiny, from injuries to personal scandal. Vanessa, too, has spent years in the shadow of her high-profile divorce and Trump family headlines.
Now, according to those close to the couple, they’ve found something simple, and powerful, in each other: peace.
Whether or not vows are exchanged in America’s most famous residence, one thing’s clear: this love story has already made history. And if the White House is truly in the cards, we may be looking at the most surprising wedding of the decade.
