Disturbing communications between doctors linked to Matthew Perry revealed by his lawyer

New Details Emerge in Matthew Perry Case

A new documentary has revealed shocking details about the investigation into Matthew Perry’s passing. The Friends star was just 54 when he died in October 2023, leaving fans around the world in disbelief.

Authorities later ruled that the cause was an accidental overdose of ketamine. Contributing factors included drowning, coronary artery disease, and the effects of buprenorphine, according to the examiner’s report.

Multiple Charges Filed

Five people have now faced charges connected to Perry, including Dr. Salvador Plasencia. Plasencia has admitted guilt to four counts of distributing ketamine, which reportedly contributed to Perry’s d**th.

Other individuals involved, including Dr. Mark Chavez, Perry’s assistant Kenneth Iwamasa, intermediary Eric Fleming, and alleged dealer Jasveen Sangha, have all agreed to plead guilty to some charges.

Chilling Messages Revealed

The documentary exposes damning evidence of Plasencia’s involvement. He allegedly sold 20 vials of ketamine to Perry for $55,000. In one text to Chavez, Plasencia wrote: “I wonder how much this moron will pay.”

Inside the Documentary

Peacock and ITV’s Matthew Perry: A Hollywood Tragedy features former U.S. Attorney Martin Estrada, who discussed the incriminating texts. Estrada said, “Dr. Plasencia clearly saw this as an opportunity to make a lot of money quickly. He sold 20 vials of ketamine to Mr. Perry in a month for $55,000.”

Estrada added that the doctors even discussed the improper administration of ketamine but viewed it as a financial opportunity.

Law Enforcement Insight

Former LAPD officer Greg Kading also appears in the documentary, explaining that encrypted app messages between Chavez and Plasencia were accessible to law enforcement. “People assume encrypted apps hide activity, but that’s not true,” Kading said. “The indictment details a range of criminal behavior and shows a sh0cking degree of disdain toward Mr. Perry from medical professionals.”

Watch the Documentary

Matthew Perry: A Hollywood Tragedy is available to stream on Peacock in the U.S. and ITVX in the U.K.
