Daniel listened silently, letting them weave their web.
When the judge asked if he had anything to add, Daniel rose calmly. He placed a sealed folder on the bench.

Gasps filled the room. Emily’s attorney dropped his papers. Luke’s smug expression crumbled. Federal marshals secured the exits, and the twins cried amid the chaos. Every lie Emily told had backfired.
