“We’ve been through so much, from my having a stroke on stage to Alex being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and having an autoimmune disorder. And then this was just something else that tested our faith and tested our strength,” Drake shared in an emotional 2022 interview with People. Despite their hardships, the couple never gave up. They turned to in vitro fertilization (IVF) in 2022, eventually creating seven healthy embryos — a beacon of hope during their darkest days.
