A Message You Couldn’t Miss
Photographers captured a zoomed-in image of the note, showing its exact wording:
“You need to approve a Truth Social post soon so you can announce deal first.”
The note referred to a tentative peace deal between Israel and Hamas, brokered with the help of Trump. At the time, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government and Hamas had reached preliminary agreement.
Trump Reacts
After reading the note, Trump quickly addressed the room:
“I was just given a note by the secretary of state saying that we’re very close to a deal on the Middle East, and they’re gonna need me pretty quickly. So we’ll take a couple of more questions.”
