Nobody said that life was easy but for some people, it is a struggle from the very start. That doesn’t mean that they simply toss in their hat and give up, and some of them are really inspiring.
One young man who has inspired many people is a former Burger King employee who just made a record. He had recently graduated from a high school in Georgia, got his diploma, and then went back to making hamburgers at Burger King immediately.
Considering the fact that he left the graduation ceremony and was working within a short amount of time, one local mother was inspired. She saw that he was an industrious young man, and she wanted to help.
18-year-old Mykale Baker graduated from Mills Creek High School and only hours later, he was working at the Burger King in Dacula, Georgia. He arrived at the restaurant still wearing his cap and gown, and people took notice.
This included Maria Mendoza, who made a TikTok video of the hard worker as he was slinging burgers. She then posted it on a GoFundMe, and it went viral.
On the crowdfunding page, she spoke about how he had just got his diploma and was proudly wearing his metals when he reported for work that day. He wanted to make sure he wasn’t late.
His determination paid off, and people continue to donate to help him get through college. The short video received almost 3 million views.
