Ashley Biden, daughter of President Joe Biden, is embroiled in a new scandal involving her charity, the Women’s Wellness Spa(ce), which was accused of failing to disclose $500,000 in donations to the IRS.
The donations, including $250,000 each from the Archewell Foundation and Silicon Valley Community Foundation, were significantly underreported in the organization’s filings, which claimed only $170,296 in contributions.
A complaint filed by the National Legal and Policy Center questions whether additional undisclosed income was received. Despite explanations from the charity’s accountant, critics argue the charity should have reported the full donations under the accrual method.
If found guilty of misreporting, Ashley Biden could face financial penalties, adding to the ongoing scrutiny surrounding the Biden family’s financial dealings.
