‘American Pickers’ Star And Partner Rushed To Hospital After Brutal Crash

Mike Wolfe, the star of the reality show “American Pickers,” and his girlfriend, Leticia Cline, were driving through Columbia, TN, on September 12th, when they were in a pretty serious car accident.

Wolfe shared a post about the incident on his Instagram stories on Saturday, and judging by the smashed in appearance of his blue vintage vehicle, it was more than a fender bender. It actually sent both Wolfe and Cline to the hospital.

Wolfe wrote, “By the grace of God, we’re both safe and okay.” He told his fans, “We are both receiving excellent care and while Leticia is still in the hospital, she is expected to make a full recovery.”

He ended the post by writing, “Thank you for respecting our privacy at this time and we appreciate all of your love & prayers. God bless.”

While he asked for privacy, he also felt the need to update his fans again. Later that same evening, Wolfe posted an update, writing, “It’s been a rough nite but now there’s light at the end of the tunnel.”

He added, “I truly believe in the power of group prayers thank you to all of you that have sent them to us.”

The New York Post reports that Wolfe also shared Cline’s post from Saturday where she wrote, “Hopefully I get surgery tomorrow.” She also shared what injuries she was recovering from. “Broken jaw (in a few places), broken ribs, sternum, collapsed lung and a lot of swelling on my spine. My mouth will be wired shut but I still got my brain and that’s all that matters.”

Earlier this year, Wolfe shocked fans by closing his store in Nashville after 15 years. He claims that he wants to enjoy a slower pace of life in his home state of Iowa. He explained, “This isn’t goodbye – it’s just a new rhythm.”
