The brief meeting seemed to make a strong impression.
Trump told the New York Post, “He looked really, very handsome last night. Some people look better in person. He looked great. He looked really nice, and I told him that.”

Trump also asked about Princess Kate and King Charles.
“His wife is doing well,” he recalled. “His father is fighting very hard. He loves his father and he loves his wife. So it was sad.”
He added, “We had a great talk for a little more than half an hour. A great, great talk.”
Trump Reflects on Royal Encounters
Trump has often spoken about his past meetings with royals.
He once insisted that Queen Elizabeth II was fond of him, saying, “Many people have said I was her favourite president.”
A Message for King Charles
According to Metro, Trump also shared his well wishes for King Charles while speaking with Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer.
A Downing Street spokesperson confirmed: “The President opened by wishing His Majesty the King best wishes and good health.”
Trump Comments on Prince Harry
Earlier this year, Trump addressed the controversy around Prince Harry.
A US think tank questioned Harry’s visa, pointing to drug use he admitted in his memoir.
Still, Trump dismissed calls for deportation.
“I don’t want to do that,” he said. “I will leave him alone. He has enough troubles with his wife. She is terrible.”
