Trump vs. Harvard Heats Up
Donald Trump is now locked in a heated battle with Harvard University — a clash fueling wild speculation and bold theories.
But suddenly, an unexpected voice steps in: Melania Trump breaks her silence — and she’s not holding back.
Trump Calls for Federal Cuts
Trump’s latest move escalates the feud. He’s urging all federal agencies to cut ties with the Ivy League institution.
At the core of the conflict lies a growing dispute over foreign student records. Harvard has already sued the federal government, fighting to recover around $3.2 billion in frozen grant money.
On Truth Social, Trump didn’t mince words.
“I am seriously looking at taking away all federal funding from Harvard and giving it to trade schools all across our land,” he posted.
“What a great investment that would be for the USA, and so badly needed!!!”

Online Speculation Explodes
As Trump’s statements gained traction, social media buzzed with theories. One viral claim suggested Harvard had rejected Barron Trump, sparking his father’s outrage.
Back in April, Senator Sheldon Whitehouse added fuel to the fire.
“Can’t help but wonder how many Trumps got rejected by Harvard,” he wrote on X.
Barron Chooses NYU, Not Harvard
Despite the rumors, Trump clarified Barron’s college decision in a 2024 Daily Mail interview. He said Barron considered several schools, including the University of Pennsylvania, where Trump studied.
In the end, Barron chose NYU’s Stern School of Business.
“He’s a very smart guy,” Trump said. “It’s a very high-quality place. He liked the school.”
Melania Shuts Down the Rumors
Now, Melania Trump steps in to set the record straight.
Through her spokesperson, she flatly denied claims that Barron applied to Harvard.
“Barron did not apply to Harvard, and any assertion that he, or that anyone on his behalf, applied is completely false,” said Nicholas Clemens, as reported by the Palm Beach Post.
Melania’s message is clear: Barron should be kept out of political crossfire.

But Is There More to the Story?
Still, many can’t help but wonder: Could Trump’s personal feelings be part of his Harvard hostility?
After all, he’s known for taking things personally.
