Melania Trump Opens Up on Fox News
First Lady Melania Trump appeared on Fox News’ The Five to promote her memoir, Melania, sharing candid insights about her life with Donald Trump—including playful hints about what he wears to bed.
A Lighthearted Moment on Sleepwear
During the interview, host Greg Gutfeld asked if her husband ever sleeps.
“He doesn’t sleep much,” Trump replied with a smile. “He does, of course.”
When asked if he wears pajamas, she laughed and said “No.” Pressed further about his bedtime attire, Melania playfully zipped her fingers across her mouth, signaling she would keep that detail private.
The moment added levity to the interview, as the usually reserved first lady promotes her new book.

Sharing Personal Stories
Gutfeld also asked if there’s something about her husband that the public probably doesn’t know but should.
Trump revealed she included some “cute, nice stories” in her memoir. She described Donald as:
-
Warm and fun
-
Possessing a great personality
-
Passionate about making the country safe
-
Committed to ensuring jobs and family life for Americans
She added, “He treats everyone equally. Man or woman. He could be tough on anyone.”
When host Dana Perino asked if he makes her laugh, she confirmed, “Yes, he does, of course.”
Media Appearances and Book Promotion
Melania has largely avoided the spotlight during Donald Trump’s third presidential bid against Vice President Kamala Harris. She only recently began more interviews in advance of her book release.
Earlier in the year, she attended the Republican National Convention and a major campaign fundraiser in 2024 but did not speak publicly.
Updates on Barron Trump
The former first lady also shared news about their son, Barron Trump, who recently started as a freshman at New York University.
“He’s doing great. He loves his classes and his professors. He’s driving and enjoying New York City again,” she said.
