A spokesperson for former US President Bill Clinton has demanded the full release of the files pertaining to sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, after accusing the White House of ‘protecting someone’ by releasing heavily redacted files.
Angel Ureña slammed the White House and Department of Justice repeatedly over the weekend, after accusing both of attempting to ‘scapegoat’ the former politician, by releasing photos of him alongside Epstein and Ghislane Maxwell.
Around 300,000 Epstein files were made public on Friday (the deadline in which all of the files should have been released) and included a number of famous names including Clinton, the former Prince Andrew, Michael Jackson, Diana Ross, Chris Tucker and Kevin Spacey to name but a few.
None of the pictured stars have been accused of any wrongdoing by appearing in the images.

Yet, the selective nature of the releases and the heavy redaction meant some documents were released completely blacked out, leading Utena to call on the president for full transparency.
He demanded that ‘President Trump direct Attorney General Bondi to immediately release any remaining materials referring to, mentioning, or containing a photograph of Bill Clinton.’
“The White House hasn’t been hiding these files for months only to dump them late on a Friday to protect Bill Clinton,” the spokesperson declared in a post.
“What the Department of Justice has released so far, and the manner in which it did so, makes one thing clear: someone or something is being protected,” Ureña stated. “We do not know whom, what or why. But we do know this: We need no such protection.”
“On Friday, the Justice Department unveiled its initial set of files; however, it refrained from releasing all of the federal government’s documents tied to various probes into the notorious sex offender, as required by the Epstein Files Transparency Act, enacted last month by President Donald Trump”

The statement went on to infer that if the DOJ refuses to release all of the files, it will only confirm that they are ‘using selective releases to imply wrongdoing about individuals who have already been repeatedly cleared by the very same Department of Justice, over many years, under Presidents and Attorneys General of both parties’.
Clinton, like many of the famous faces who appeared in the photographs released last week and prior releases, has never been accused or charged with any wrongdoing, and his inclusion in the files does not mean he has done anything wrong.
However, it has added fresh scrutiny to the relationships Epstein had with some of the most powerful people in global society, including Donald Trump himself who appeared in court documents pertaining to the late financier.
