Singer Tulisa Reveals Her Personal Orientation And People Don’t Know How To Feel

There has been much discussion about sexual orientation over the past several years. It seems as if everybody has something and at times, they may even shoot for something unique.

This includes a popular hip-hop star, who also became a judge on X-Factor, Tulisa. She became famous early in the 2000s as a member of N-Dubz, a group known for songs, including Ouch, and ‘I Need You’.

Later, Tulisa would go on to find success as a solo artist with her first solo album, The Female Boss doing very well. It even included a number-one single in the UK, Young.

Not only is the singer known for her musical talents, she also has done quite well in show business. Between 2011 and 2012, she appeared as a judge on the X-Factor. Recently, however, she has decided to scale back her public appearances.

That doesn’t mean that she has stopped working. She was on season 24 of the survival reality TV show, I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! That was quite a step out of the darkness, and she had said before she appeared on the show that she was quitting show business.

On a podcast, she said: “The music industry is wild, it is ridiculous. I’m through most of it. I’ll be out in two years from now. I’m going into property next year.

“I think I’ll always come back for N-Dubz. But I think the person I’ve become, I’m a public figure that doesn’t really like being in the public eye.”

She then said that she wanted to open themed rentals, which would be ‘super fantasy geek’. That was her plan for 2024.

When she was on the reality show, she also opened up about her sexual orientation. She said that she must have a ‘really close emotional bond with someone’ before she could be attracted to them sexually.

She went on to say: “For me, it’s all about the connection and the emotions that I feel with someone and then wanting to express them in that way.”

This is known as Demisexuality, a sexual orientation where the individual does not experience a primary attraction to the other person sexually.

According to WebMD, “When you’re demisexual, you need an emotional connection to someone before you can feel sexually attracted to them. You may be gay, straight, bisexual, demiromantic, sapiosexual, gray asexual, or pansexual. You can have any gender identity.”

After Tulisa opened up about her sexual orientation, many fans began commenting on Twitter to share their support and praise her for her honesty.
