Zohran Mamdani, 34, made history with a landslide victory in the New York City mayoral race, defeating former governor Andrew Cuomo and Republican Curtis Sliwa. When the final results came in, New York’s Board of Elections reported the highest voter turnout in more than 50 years, with over two million ballots cast. Standing before a roaring crowd on November 4, Mamdani didn’t hold back.
