The Rise of the Blue-Eyed Bandit
Jeremy Meeks, famously known as the Blue-Eyed Bandit, shocked the nation when the Stockton Police Department posted his mugshot in 2014. The photo followed his arrest during a gang sweep called Operation Ceasefire in Stockton, California. Born and raised during the late ’80s and early ’90s “crack era,” Meeks faced a challenging childhood. He eventually was convicted on federal charges of being a felon in possession of a firearm and grand theft.
Surprisingly, the mugshot went viral. Women across social media commented on Meeks’ striking looks. His piercing blue eyes, chiseled cheekbones, and tattooed neck captivated thousands. Modeling agencies quickly took notice, offering him opportunities once he completed his sentence.

A Turn Toward Success
After prison, Meeks left crime behind. He transformed into a successful model, walking for top fashion houses and signing contracts with elite brands such as Tommy Hilfiger and Philipp Plein.
Meeks’ early life was dark. In a 2019 interview on the What’s Your Water podcast, he revealed, “Both of my parents were heroin addicts. I was a heroin baby.” His father tragically killed a young mother before taking his own life, leaving Meeks to navigate a difficult childhood alone.

Personal Life and Relationships
Meeks’ fame put strain on his personal life. He married Melissa Meeks in 2008, and the couple had a son. They separated in 2018 after a decade together. During this period, he began dating Chloe Green, the Topshop heiress worth around $100 million.
Meeks and Green reportedly started dating in 2017, and their relationship was publicly revealed when paparazzi captured them on a yacht. They split in 2019, shortly after the birth of their son, Jayden Meeks-Green. In 2020, Meeks discussed co-parenting, stating, “I have an incredible relationship with Chloe, the mother of my 2-year-old. And now I have a relationship with the mother of my oldest son. We’re all co-parenting. They are incredible mothers.”

Acting and Entrepreneurship
Beyond modeling, Meeks explored acting. He debuted in the 2020 BET+ film Trigger and appeared in the independent movie Secret Society in 2021. He later starred in True to the Game 2 and 3. Additionally, he launched his own clothing line after signing a $15 million deal with Fashion Concept GmbH. Meeks admitted he fell in love with acting, hinting at more projects to come.
Sharing His Story
In 2024, Meeks released his autobiography, Model Citizen: The Autobiography of Jeremy Meeks. He said, “I’m in a place in my life where I am extremely vulnerable and want to tell my story, the whole story, and hope that people can connect to it.” By the same year, he confirmed to People magazine that he was single, stating, “I am single. I’m trying to focus on myself.”
