There are many types of food that are popular but one that is enjoyed by people around the world is chicken. After all, we often say that almost anything tastes like chicken and it can be made in so many different ways.
On occasion, however, we may have somebody who gives us a reason to think about the chicken that we are eating. This includes a 21-year-old mother from Texas, Alesia Cooper. She recently shared a photo of chicken breasts and it is causing a lot of concern.
She debated at first whether she would post it or not but eventually, she showed it to the world. The image shows the chicken breast shredding into strings like spaghetti and she says: “I was cooking my kids dinner a couple of weeks ago and was cleaning my meat like I normally do and when I went back to start cooking it turned into this (SIC).”
It wasn’t long after the influencer posted this on Facebook that people were commenting. Some suggested that the chicken was raised in the laboratory while others said that it was 3D printed. Even Cooper said that she purchased the cheap chicken breast from Aldi.
One of the more logical explanations came from somebody who said that it was not 3D printed or lab-grown. They said that it comes from real chickens and it is the result of greedy chicken producers who force-feed growth hormones so that the chickens grow faster.
In the end, it is really up to the individual to decide whether they are going to purchase and eat chicken or not. It’s good to be aware of what you are eating but then again, you have to live in this world.
