Erika Kirk’s Chilling Post Before Tragedy
Just hours before Charlie Kirk was a**a**inated, his wife Erika shared a haunting message on X. Quoting Psalm 46:1, she wrote: “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”
The words now carry heartbreaking weight in light of her husband’s d**th.
The A**a**ination
Charlie Kirk, conservative activist and co-founder of Turning Point USA, was fatally shot on Wednesday while speaking at Utah Valley University. The attack, captured on video, left the 31-year-old m*rtally w**nded.
He was rushed to a hospital but d**d shortly after. FBI officials confirmed they are investigating the case as political vi*lence. A tip line has been opened, but no a**ests have been made.
Trump’s Response
Former President Donald Trump called Kirk’s murder the result of “radical left rhetoric.” On Truth Social, he vowed to hold both perpetrators and supporting organizations accountable. He later ordered flags nationwide flown at half-mast until Sunday evening.
A Family in Mourning
Kirk leaves behind his wife Erika and their two young children — a three-year-old daughter and a 16-month-old son. The couple celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary in May, marking the occasion on social media with reflections on their faith and marriage.
Erika, a businesswoman and philanthropist, has long centered her work around faith. She founded Everyday Heroes Like You, created the ministry program BIBLEin365, and hosts the Midweek Rise Up podcast. In 2012, she was crowned Miss Arizona USA.
A Life of Faith and Leadership
Erika often spoke about slowing down and focusing on the covenant of marriage rather than wedding pageantry. In a past post, she encouraged newlyweds to embrace faith as the foundation of their union.
Only weeks before the tragedy, Erika and Charlie appeared on Fox & Friends with their children, where a touching clip showed their daughter running into his arms.
Remembering Charlie Kirk
The fatal sh*t was f*red from the top of the Losee Center, about 200 feet from where Kirk was seated. Authorities briefly detained two people, but both were released.
For his supporters, Kirk’s a**a**ination leaves a painful void. For his family, Erika’s haunting words now echo as both a prayer and a reminder of the faith they shared.
