Ask anyone who has ever been through a divorce and they will let you know it is not an easy road to go through. There are generally problems associated with it that can be very difficult, if not impossible to overcome.

This is not only true for everyday people, but it is also true for very famous individuals and celebrities. Kevin Costner is a good example because when he got divorced from Christine Baumgardner after being together for a long time, he went through a lot of difficulties.

Despite the fact that he struggled as a result of the divorce, he was able to bounce back and to do so in style. These days, it seems as if the 67-year-old actor is not only over the divorce, he’s also found love again.

According to some reports and rumors, he has been together with the singer Jewel. Those same reports say that they flew together to the Caribbean and spent almost a week before coming back.

Some other sources claim that Costner was sidelined as a result of the decision to file for divorce. It was his wife who supposedly suggested that they get divorced, and he didn’t appear to be expecting it. They had been married for 18 years.

According to a spokesman: “It is with great sadness that circumstances beyond Mr. Costner’s control have resulted in Mr. Costner having to participate in a dissolution of marriage action”

They also asked that the privacy of the entire family be respected as they went through the difficulty.

After a dispute was filed through a lawsuit, and Costner was kicked out of the home, he had to pay $63,209 every month in child support. That would be a lot of stress for anyone, but it seems as if he is now in a relationship and is trying to heal.

Jewel also had something to say on the subject, and she posted it on social media. She said: “It’s an incredible time, and one I use to relax, rest, and play with my son!” she remarked of the tennis fundraiser hosted on Necker Island in the British Virgin Islands. This year, @kevincostnermodernwest was gracious enough to mentor our youngsters.”
