‘Today’ Co-Host Announces Split From Husband After 13 Years Together

Dylan Dreyer has revealed a personal change in her life.

In a July 18 Instagram post, the Today cohost announced that she and her husband, Brian Fichera, have separated after 12 years of marriage.

“For many years I have shared my family with you all–the highs and the lows. The ups and downs. And all of the blessings and beautiful memories in between,” Dylan wrote, “I am incredibly grateful for the support and love you’ve given me throughout it all. For that reason, I want to share with you that a few months ago, Brian and I made the decision to separate. We began as friends, and we will remain the closest of friends.”

“Most importantly, we will continue to co-parent our three wonderful boys together with nothing but love and respect for one another,” the Today star added, “Thank you as always for your support.”

Before their split, the couple—who first met while working at a Boston news station in 2012—made it a point to carve out quality time together on the golf course, despite their hectic schedules, according to E! News.

Dylan previously emphasized how important communication was in her marriage, especially with their demanding schedules. “Our schedules mean we don’t see each other much, but we text all the time,” she told E! News. “Sometimes it’s even easier to have a meaningful or deep conversation over text because we can get all our thoughts out without being interrupted.”

Family time also remained a top priority—and still does.

In 2023, when she stepped away from Weekend Today, Dylan shared how much she cherished moments at home with their children. “These boys are my whole life, and Brian and I love being a team on the weekends—spending time together as a family and having as much fun as we can,” she said.

“It’s all about family time,” she added. “This job can get crazy especially when we’re traveling and we’re busy, but it’s so important to make time for family, too.”
