Confidential letter from Trump’s Attorney General exposes details about Epstein files

eaked Letter Challenges Trump’s Denial of Epstein Files

Trump Dismisses Epstein File Claims

Donald Trump has long insisted that no files exist regarding Jeffrey Epstein’s alleged client list. Recently, he even lashed out at a reporter who questioned him about it, saying, “Are people still talking about this guy? This creep? That is unbelievable.” His comments came in response to renewed scrutiny sparked by Elon Musk, who claimed Trump’s “involvement” was the real reason the files haven’t been made public.

Epstein’s History and Ongoing Demands for Truth

Epstein, once a powerful financier, was jailed in 2019 on federal sex trafficking charges involving minors. He died by suicide in prison, but public outcry over his connections hasn’t died down. Many believe key government documents—allegedly naming celebrities and powerful figures—remain hidden.

Letter from Pam Bondi Raises New Questions

A newly leaked letter, however, contradicts Trump’s statements. Dated February 27, 2025, and written by Attorney General Pam Bondi to FBI Director Kash Patel, the letter confirms that Epstein-related files do exist—and that Bondi herself requested them.

In the letter, Bondi writes:

“Before you came into office, I requested the full and complete files related to Jeffrey Epstein.”

She explains she received around 200 pages of documents, including flight logs, Epstein’s contact list, and names and phone numbers of victims. However, she claims that just a day before writing the letter, a source informed her that the FBI’s New York office holds thousands more documents tied to the Epstein investigation.

Bondi Demands Full Disclosure

Bondi expressed frustration at what she called the FBI’s failure to disclose the full extent of the evidence.

“Despite my repeated requests, the FBI never disclosed the existence of these files,” she wrote.

She directed Patel to deliver all materials—documents, recordings, and any other evidence—by the following day, stating that nothing should be withheld.

“There will be no withholdings or limitations to my or your access.”

Bondi also stressed the need to protect victim privacy while ensuring transparency, saying:

“Any public disclosure of these files will be done in a manner to protect the privacy of victims and in accordance with law.”

Call for Investigation into FBI Withholding

To conclude, Bondi directed Patel to investigate why these files were not previously disclosed. She gave him 14 days to report his findings and propose any necessary disciplinary actions.

“I know that we are both committed to transparency for the American people,” she wrote, “and I look forward to continuing to work with you to serve our President and our country.”
