Famed singer Sam Smith is reminding the world about their gender, just in case some people might have forgotten.

The renowned celeb who is known for making some very controversial decisions when it comes to their outrageous fashion choices broke their silence.

Smith shared how it’s not uncommon for people to be serious and ask them dead in the face what their gender is. Some get even more personal and wonder if they’re ever in need or desire a gender change.

Without thinking too much about the matter, they shared how the answer was no I don’t want to. It’s simple, I am not a man and I am not a woman, they added. Instead, Smit confirmed that they are a mix of things and it was hard to characterize that under one specific stereotype.

The star added during the Instagram Live session it’s not fun hearing people talk about you all the time, especially tag you for all the wrong reasons.

They agreed that the best category to put them under was non-binary but despite addressing the matter on so many separate occasions, Smith was surprised why people were so confused all the time.
