If there is one thing that all of us appreciate, it’s the smile of a baby. It’s hard not to smile back when we see one smiling at us, even if they are doing so in a picture.

Perhaps that is why millions of people have fallen in love with a little girl after her picture was shown online. It was shared on the National Down Syndrome Adoption Network Facebook page, and people can’t get enough of it.

The 8-month-old child, Baby H, lives with her family in Texas. They named her Baby H to protect her privacy when posting pictures online and during the adoption process.

Her mother said that the baby woke up one morning and had a big smile on her face. She described it: “We noticed it several times and realized she was showing us a cheesy grin — we laughed and laughed every time she did it, and she just loved the attention.”

More than 15 million people looked at the Facebook page and enjoyed seeing the picture. The mother was thrilled that they did so and said: “We hope that all the viewers will see the beauty that lies in people with Down Syndrome.”

Down syndrome is not something that should keep you from living a normal life. Many people have gone for their dreams and succeeded, and we hope Baby H is able to do that as well.
