American Idol star John Foster turns Paragon Casino into a country festival with his powerful voice and charm

With a growing portfolio of sold-out shows and unforgettable performances, American Idol runner-up John Foster continues to prove why he’s one of country music’s brightest rising stars.

On Saturday, July 5, Foster lit up the Paragon Casino Resort’s Mari Showroom in Marksville, Louisiana, turning it into a full-blown country music festival to celebrate Independence Day.

From the very first note, Foster brought the house down with a medley of country classics, kicking off the set with Brooks & Dunn’s “Boot Scootin’ Boogie” and following it with fan favorites like “Neon Moon,” John Anderson’s “Swingin’,” and George Strait’s “All My Ex’s Live in Texas”. His smooth vocals and undeniable charisma filled every corner of the showroom, reminding fans what real country music sounds like.

Following the electric performance in Louisiana, Foster shows no signs of slowing down. The 19-year-old Louisiana native is packing his summer with shows across the South and beyond, including a big birthday performance at the Grand Ole Opry.
