Shaq regularly connects with the family through Instagram. Early this year, he visited them, spending quality time playing games, encouraging the kids, and giving gifts. Karissa described the visit, saying, “He played ‘Watch ya mouth’ with the kids, encouraged us as parents, took pictures, and showed so much love.”
Surprise Dinners and a Custom Van
But Shaq wasn’t done. A few months later, he surprised the family with dinner at Babe’s Chicken. They had a blast eating and hanging out together.
The next day, Shaq took the family to a Mercedes dealership. There, he ordered a custom 15-passenger van, scheduled for delivery in mid-July. The family was stunned by his generosity. The kids hugged their hero tightly, overjoyed by the gift.
