If you’re anything like me, you’ve probably seen Dirty Dancing so many times that you can practically say every line in the movie. On occasion, however, we may learn something new and that is what we learned recently.

There is a deleted scene and although it isn’t a long video clip, it is amazing to see it when we haven’t ever seen it before. In the scene, you see Johnny teaching Baby a dance routine for the big performance.

There are some people who claim that they remember the scene between Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey, but it’s not actually one that made the cut for the movie. The video description explains that production had to cut scenes because of time, budget, and other reasons.

This is a very heartwarming clip because you get to see Patrick and Jennifer as they are practicing. Video was being taken at the time, but they didn’t know it.

You might also be interested in knowing that Patrick Swayze could dance from the time he was very young. They grew up in Houston, where his mother ran the dance studio and he was surrounded by it his entire life.

In addition, there were other scenes that were cut from the film between Patrick and Jennifer. One that is very well-known is when Johnny is dancing with Baby and she is in her underwear. It was cut from the version that made the theater but did make it into the deleted scenes from the special edition DVD.

In the end, it doesn’t matter whether it is a sensual moment or just one you haven’t seen before, it makes us appreciate the movie all that much more.
