A lip reader claims to have identified the nickname Trump used for Melania during their exchange at the military parade

Lip Reader Claims Trump Used Sweet Nickname for Melania at Military Parade

Trump’s Grand Birthday Celebration

President Donald Trump marked his 79th birthday on Saturday, June 14, with a lavish $45 million military parade in Washington, D.C. The event, held in honor of the U.S. Army’s 250th anniversary, featured a dramatic display of American military power, from historical reenactments to modern-day weaponry.

Trump arrived to the patriotic tunes of “Hail to the Chief” and “Happy Birthday,” accompanied by First Lady Melania Trump, his family, and government officials. Tanks, aircraft, and uniformed soldiers from various eras filled the capital in a show not seen since the Gulf War’s end in 1991.

A Moment Between Trump and Melania

During the event, a professional lip reader spotted a sweet exchange between the President and the First Lady. As Trump made his way to the podium, Melania touched his back, prompting him to turn and say, “Thank you, baby,” according to lip reader Jeremy Freeman via The Irish Star.

The moment came after what observers described as an awkward interaction between the couple. Lip reader Nicola Hickling claimed Melania commented, “They’re good,” referring to the parading troops. Trump reportedly responded with a cryptic line: “I pushed my finger on one of them.”
Melania, apparently confused, replied: “You didn’t do that.”

Trump’s Patriotic Speech

Trump then delivered an eight-minute speech, celebrating the military and asserting America’s global dominance.
“Every other country celebrates their victories. It’s about time America did too,” he declared.
He continued: “We’re the hottest country in the world right now. If you threaten the American people, our soldiers are coming for you.”

Fireworks and Claims of Attendance

The evening ended with a massive fireworks display over the Tidal Basin. White House Communications Director Steven Cheung claimed over 250,000 “patriots” attended. However, outlets like The Associated PressThe New York Times, and Fox News reported significantly smaller crowds, casting doubt on that figure.

Still, Trump praised the event. Speaking to Fox News, he said, “It was beautiful. We had a fantastic audience.” He also called the parade a long-time dream, dating back to his first presidential term.
