Most people know Adam Lambert, either because he was on American Idol or because he was the frontman for the rock band, Queen. What they may not know is that he is an excellent performer in any right, and he proved that at a tribute concert.

We might think about Adam Lambert singing rock ‘n’ roll but he put down some funk with the collaboration of the song, ‘Lay Me Down’. The American singer was at the Avicii Tribute Concert when he took the stage.

Avicii fans were undoubtedly excited when he showed up to perform a classic disco number in a pink outfit. The show is absolutely on point, and fans loved the work that he did.

If you’ve ever really paid attention to the vocals on the song, Lay Me Down, you realize that it is not all that easy to perform. Lambert had absolutely no problem and it is impressive how he was able to get through such a demanding piece.

Every line of the song was done absolutely perfectly and everybody in attendance at the Friends Arena in Stockholm, Sweden was provided with the energy they needed.

The Avicii Tribute Concert produced a number of excellent songs and they have been watched on YouTube well over 3 million times. The comments coming in really showed how much those fans appreciated Lambert’s performance.

Avicii wrote the song Lay Me down with Lambert and two other musicians. It’s amazing to think of the collaboration and how it all came together in this amazing concert. After it dropped in 2014, the song was certified gold in Sweden and popular across the European markets.

Music like this doesn’t happen every day. It’s amazing to be able to hear it.
