On a cold November evening, Greg, a tired but devoted construction worker, was heading home after a long day. At the train station, he noticed a well-dressed but distressed woman clutching a baby. She asked for money to get home, claiming she’d repay it later.
Despite his own financial worries, Greg offered to buy her a meal. Over dinner, Lily explained she was once a successful entrepreneur but had fallen on hard times.
