Expert Identifies Likely Explanation
Animal expert Andy McKee offered his take. He told WSAZ the creature likely resembles a fox suffering from mange. Mange, caused by mites, can lead to hair loss, thickened skin, and scabs—changing an animal’s appearance dramatically.
