We Moved Into a Deceased Man’s House, and a Dog Visited Us Daily…

A Fresh Start for the Family

Maggie, her son Ethan, and husband Kyle move into a new house, eager for a fresh start. Ethan, who had been bullied, needs a change of scenery, and Maggie is determined to help him heal.

A House with a History

The house had once belonged to an elderly man named Christopher. After his passing, his daughter sold it to the family, unable to bear living there any longer. As they settle in, something unexpected happens.

A Mysterious Visitor

Every morning, a husky appears on their porch. The dog has striking blue eyes and a worn collar labeled “Christopher Jr.” He becomes a regular visitor. Ethan quickly grows attached to him, but Maggie feels uneasy, especially as the dog starts acting oddly.

A Path into the Woods

The husky begins leading them into the woods. One day, Maggie and Ethan follow him deeper into the forest, where they discover a pregnant fox trapped in a hunter’s snare. They rescue her and rush her to the vet, with the husky, now named CJ, following closely behind.

A New Life Begins

The fox survives surgery, and Maggie and Ethan care for her as she heals. CJ remains by her side. Soon after, the fox, named Vixen, gives birth to four kits. The family watches as Vixen and her babies eventually return to the wild.

A Lasting Bond

Every weekend, Maggie, Ethan, and Kyle visit the forest. Vixen and her kits greet them, proof of the deep bond formed between them. Maggie reflects on the strange chain of events that brought them together, feeling grateful for the mysterious husky that led them to help Vixen.
