Denver Moore’s 104th Birthday Celebration
Denver Moore, a World War II veteran from Canal Fulton, Ohio, is preparing to mark a remarkable milestone—his 104th birthday on May 15. This isn’t just any birthday. Moore has a special guest in mind: former President Donald Trump.
A Heartfelt Invitation
In a recent interview with Fox News Digital, Moore shared his admiration for Trump, calling him his “favorite president” while expressing dissatisfaction with President Biden. To make his birthday wish clear, Moore posted a TikTok video on March 23 inviting Trump to his party. He said, “President Trump… I’m gonna be 104 in May, and I’m inviting you to my birthday party in Canal Fulton. I got to vote for you again, and I hope I can vote for you some more.”
Viral Video and Widespread Support
The video quickly went viral, gaining over 700,000 views in just ten days. Moore has since received an overwhelming number of warm messages and birthday cards from across the U.S. and as far as Africa.
A Life of Service and Simplicity
Moore’s life story is one of service and simplicity. He grew up on a farm in Noble County, Ohio, and served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II for three and a half years. Afterward, he spent 20 years working for the U.S. Postal Service. Moore was married to his late wife, Thelma Lee, for 75 years until her passing in 2022. Together, they raised three children, built a family, and embraced a life of hard work and commitment.
Staying Sharp and Active
Now living at Danbury Senior Living in Massillon, Ohio, Moore is both mentally sharp and physically active. His caregivers and family members highlight his love for staying busy. Remarkably, Moore can still recite the alphabet backward—a skill he learned over 80 years ago.
The Secret to Longevity
Moore credits his long life to staying physically active. “I was always active, doing something,” he explained. “I carried mail for 20 years, walking, and that was good. I grew up on a farm, did everything, and if there was nothing to do, we created something.” He also shared advice on relationships: “Marry the right woman and live with her all of her life.”
A National Celebration
Moore’s birthday video has sparked an outpouring of support. Kelli Beckler, executive director at Danbury Senior Living, noted the tremendous response: “People from all over the country have been sending him birthday cards and cheering him on.”
Though it remains uncertain if President Trump will attend, Moore’s patriotism, energy, and spirit have already turned his 104th birthday into a national celebration. As the day draws near, the community continues to rally around this extraordinary veteran, honoring his legacy.
