Donald Trump caused a stir when he made public hundreds of classified documents pertaining to President John F. Kennedy’s 1963 killing. Many people are still looking for the truth that the president previously promised as a result of Trump’s document dump, despite the fact that many expected shocking findings.
People have been searching for the truth about what actually transpired on November 22, 1963, the day that John F. Kennedy (JFK), then 46, was slain, for decades.
The Trump administration released 80,000 documents pertaining to the 35th President of the United States’ passing on March 18. This action complied with the Kennedy Assassination Records Collection Act of 1992, which had originally set a complete disclosure date of 2017.
“The quantity of paper we possess is enormous. You read quite a bit. From the Kennedy Center on March 17, Trump, 78, hinted, “I don’t think we’re going to redact anything.” “They have been anticipating that for many years. And I’m a man of my word, so tomorrow you have the JFK files, as I promised to release them throughout the campaign.

In 2018, Trump, who was 17 when Kennedy was assassinated, made hundreds of documents public, albeit some of them were redacted for national security reasons. In 2022, President Biden also took a same route, revealing 13,000 additional records.
“A new age of full transparency is about to begin under President Trump. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard stated, “As per his directive, previously redacted JFK Assassination Files are being made public with no redactions,” the New York Post reported. “Promises made, promises fulfilled.”
Some files are still locked.
Some files are still sealed up, but Trump’s decision to make these materials public was eagerly awaited by his supporters, who saw it as part of his dedication to government transparency—his administration even framed it that way.
However, the reality was much less dramatic, and despite these lofty claims, the files did not provide closure for those anticipating shocking revelations. As the Warren Commission had already determined in 1964, the majority of the records appeared to confirm that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone when he discharged a powerful rifle from the sixth story of the Texas School Book Depository, where the 24-year-old former marine had just begun working.
Three bullets were reportedly fired at 12.30 pm as JFK’s vehicle drove past Dallas’ Dealey Plaza.
While the first bullet failed to strike its target, the second round, which is known as the “magic bullet theory,” struck the president in the back, passed through his throat, and then wounded Texas Governor John Connally, breaking his wrist and landing in his thigh.
Kennedy’s head suffered the fatal hit from the third round, which was fired 8.6 seconds after the first.
Two days before he could go to trial, Oswald was shot dead by 53-year-old nightclub owner Jack Ruby after he was supposed to have escaped and shot another police officer in Dallas that same day.
Seek Out a Conspiracy
The Kennedy assassination has been a mystery for generations and never merely another historical incident.
Instead of a single shooter, many Americans think Kennedy was slain as part of a conspiracy. Mob involvement and retaliation by Cuban exiles have been among the theories. One of the most strange is that the shooting was ordered by the CIA to keep the president from learning the truth about aliens.
The recently made public documents contained tidbits of fresh material, but aside from a few minor revelations, they provided no solid evidence to support or refute the decades-old hypotheses.
Many conspiracy theorists were eager to express their thoughts online because they believe that the ongoing secrecy only serves to increase suspicion.
“JFK was assassinated by the CIA, and they were never held accountable for it,” tweets one netizen. According to a second user, “JFK was killed by the CIA.”
A third web admirer leaps on the alien theory, saying, “It seems that the JFK files were withheld for so long because they show that the US government was aware of UAPs and UFOs.”
“You got played.”
Some others voiced their disappointment at the material that is still kept secret and locked away due to alleged national security reasons.
According to one user, “it turns out that the only thing discovered in the JFK Files is what we already knew from the Warren commission.”
“I was repeatedly informed that these would be unredacted,” a second person remarked.
A third person tweets, “You got played… again? How many more times?
The announcement is identical to what former President Joe Biden posted in 2023, as other online community members noted.
The JFK files that Biden made public in 2023 were also made public by Trump, lol. fell for it again award,” one user tweets, accompanied with a comparison of the two releases’ images, with Trump’s version omitting the term “secret.”
Biden published these without redaction. “Biden 1 Trump 0,” one person shares, while another person adds, “It’s literally the same files that Biden released.”
The JFK assassination is still one of the biggest mysteries facing America today. Even though Trump’s document dump revealed some fresh information, it ultimately didn’t help us uncover the truth.
