No, we’re not making it up. Yes, it as been speculated by numerous sources over the past few days.
In fact, the somewhat bizarre bit of salacious gossip has gained so much traction that attention has now shifted to a previous interview wherein Jennifer Aniston herself weighed-in on the matter.

As per reports – wild reports, perhaps, but reports nonetheless – concerns regarding the stability of the Obamas’ marriage first came to light after Michelle failed to attend both the funeral for Jimmy Carter (which took place on January 9, 2025) and Donald Trump’s inauguration last Monday, January 20.

At this point we’d like to go on record to state our view that the evidence connecting Aniston and Obama in some sort of unlikely affair is… well, just that… unlikely. At best.

Sure, Michelle may have been absent from the aforementioned events, which could admittedly be interpreted as strange given the gravity of the occasions in question, but it would be rash, nay irresponsible, to then immediately assume that this means she and Barack’s much-lauded union is on the rocks.

In any case, speculation on the matter has inevitably drawn people back to an interview wherein Jennifer Aniston openly responded to the idea that she and Barack had enegaged in a sordid fling.

During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in October of last year, host Jimmy Kimmel handed Aniston a gossip magazine that referenced the alleged affair.

In response, the actress wagged her finger, going on to express her ire at fabricated stories published by the tabloid press.

Aniston said: “Of all the calls you get from your publicist where you’re just like, ‘Oh no, what’s it gonna be?’ or you get an email saying some cheesy tabloid is gonna make up a story – and then it’s that…”

Given the sheer ridiculousness of the rumor, Aniston would be well within her rights to react angrily. Instead, she told Kimmel that “I was not mad at it,” though emphasized that it was “absolutely untrue”.

The 55-year-old Aniston went on to clarify her relation to the Obamas, stating: “I’ve met [Barack] once. I know Michelle more than him.”

At the the time of writing it’s unclear if Aniston is actively dating anyone. Her last known serious relationship was with actor Jennifer Theroux, which lasted eight years between 2010 and 2018.

Barack and Michelle Obama, meanwhile, have been happily married since October 3, 1992. The couple has two daughters, Malia Ann (born 1998) and Natasha (born 2001).
