According to the Daily Mail, Savannah, the woman involved, decided to take matters into her own hands after noticing that her favorite coffee creamer was disappearing rapidly throughout the week.
It didn’t take long for Savannah to suspect that a coworker was sneaking her creamer, so she came up with a clever plan that included a carefully crafted note.
As reported by the Mail, she replaced her coffee creamer with her own breast milk and quietly placed the bottle back in the fridge.
A week later, after noticing the bottle was still being used, Savannah added a note to explain her little experiment.
Savannah’s note,
“Good morning!” it begins. “To whomever has been enjoying my coffee creamer all week… surprise! You’ve been drinking my breast milk. Hope you’ve enjoyed. Cheers!”
She mentioned, “By the way, it’s organic, so no need to worry.”
Naturally, those who came across Savannah’s candid note on social media were quick to react. Opinions were split regarding the ethics of her prank, while some questioned whether it was genuine.
The comments section also featured several others sharing their own experiences of pulling similar stunts to teach colleagues a lesson.
“I left string cheese in my car for three days during the summer, then put it in the fridge at work. Someone ended up eating it!” one user shared.
