Deborah James: Living and Fighting with Stage-Four Bowel Cancer

Deborah James, widely known as Bowelbabe, was a British journalist, podcast host, and cancer campaigner who bravely shared her journey with stage-four bowel cancer. Diagnosed in 2016, she faced the challenges of her illness with honesty, courage, and a desire to help others.

Over the years, Deborah underwent surgeries, treatments, and setbacks, all while raising awareness about the importance of early detection and regular screening for bowel cancer. She became a prominent voice in the fight against cancer, using her platform on the BBC podcast You, Me & the Big C to speak openly about the realities of living with terminal illness.
