Mark Ruffalo spoke out against Donald Trump and JD Vance at the Golden Globes. The actor claimed the president is a “rapist” and a “pedophile.” Now, the White House has issued a scathing response.

Mark Ruffalo and several other celebrities showed their support for Renee Nicole Good, the 37-year-old mother of three who was shot dead by ICE agents in Minneapolis on January 7.

The actor who was nominated for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Series – Drama for his role in Task, wore a “BE GOOD” pin on his suit to honor her.

Actor Mark Ruffalo brands Trump a “pedophile”

The Department of Homeland Security took the ICE agent’s side and defended his actions. They claim Renee Nicole Good tried to run over he officer, and with that, his use of force was justified. Meanwhile, the Trump administration has called her a “domestic terrorist.”

Ruffalo explained the significance of wearing the pin, but also criticized the Trump administration. He said Vice President JD Vance was “lying about what’s happening and branded Trump a “pedophile.”

“We’re in the middle of a war with Venezuela that we illegally invaded. [Trump’s] telling the world that international law doesn’t matter to him. The only thing that matters to him is his own morality. But the guy is a convicted felon, a convicted rapist,” Mark Ruffalo said.

“He’s a pedophile. He’s the worst human being, the actor continued. “If we’re relying on this guy’s morality for the most powerful country in the world, then we’re all in a lot of trouble.”

In 2024, Donald Trump was convicted on 34 felony counts for falsifying May 2024 business records. Moreover, a jury also found him liable for sexually abusing E. Jean Carroll in 1996. However, he wasn’t convicted, as it was a civil suit.

White House issues response to Mark Ruffalo

For the record, Donald Trump has never been charged with a sex crime, including pedophilia. Now, Steven Cheung, Assistant to the President and White House Director of Communications, has issued a scathing response to actor Mark Ruffalo’s comments.

On X, alongside a link to a PageSix article where the actor shared his anti-ICE comments, Cheung wrote, “Poor thing Mark Ruffalo, star of She-Hulk, is one of the worst actors in the business. More impressively, he’s an even worse human being by spewing outright lies because deep down inside, he hates himself for knowingly subjecting the public to his god awful performance.”
