35-Year-Old Man Looks 13—His Secret? He’s Never Touched This One Drink

Miles, Brandon Although he still has the appearance of a schoolboy, May is actually in his mid-thirties and looks much younger.

Known as the contemporary Dorian Grey, Brandon has a whopping 48,000 social media followers who are all curious to know the secrets behind his allegedly timeless appearance. A fervent advocate of skincare and nutritious diet, Brandon has adopted some fairly unusual strategies to preserve his youthful appearance, such as a rigorous regimen of avoiding “direct sunlight.”

Brandon always wears sunglasses, a sun hat, and long sleeves when he goes outside, in addition to his unwavering dedication to applying a generous amount of sunscreen. “The sun contributes to 80 to 90 per cent of the visible signs of skin ageing,” he says.

You won’t ever see him drinking one specific beverage, either.

“I don’t drink alcohol,” he declares. “I’ve never had a drink in my life. I made the conscious decision at the age of 13 to never partake in alcoholic beverages.”, reports the Mirror.

Brandon explains that while he doesn’t “judge” people who do have a few drinks and doesn’t care about what other people decide, he himself avoids alcohol because of its detrimental affects on “the skin, the hair, and the brain” as people age.

At 35, Brandon also steers clear of smoking and conscientiously avoids carcinogens that ‘deplete your indigenous antioxidants’. “I also get about eight hours, up to nine hours, of sleep every single night,” he reveals.

“I think that’s so important. Sleep is when the regenerative processes happen in your skin and your body. It also jacks up your melatonin which is a good thing.”

Following a “fairly healthy diet,” Brandon has completely eliminated sugar from his meals since he thinks it has a big role in skin ageing. Rather, he frequently chooses salads that contain items like avocados.

Brandon avoids’super heavy’ workouts but does moderate training. “I do exercise and make sure that I’m building and maintaining muscle, which is really important for balancing out your hormones as well as your growth hormone.”

Finally, he attributes his youthful appearance to ‘optimising’ his emotional health by reducing stress and anxiety through ‘gratitude meditation’. “It helps to lower the stress hormone cortisol, which is also an ageing hormone” he said.

“I try to make sure that I’m optimizing my mental and emotional health at all costs.”
